First of all, although Skreen. aims to a greener skincare routine, the skincare product itself has to be the bigger consideration than the word "green". After all, the reason why we should start acting sustainable is because of "us" and the "future little us".
How are returned bottles sanitised?
One of the best features of Skreen. is the reusable glass bottles! We take absolutely good care after we receive your returned bottles! The bottles will undergo a series of cleansing processes before they are refilled and sent to you! The cleansing process includes scrubbing and rinsing, 75% disinfectant and dry, and last UV disinfection.
Why did we choose amethyst glass bottles?
There is one last trick for a clean and germ-free bottle -- the glass material.
We spent a few months researching for the best material for reusable bottles, should it be aluminum? or should we use glass? Gathering from various sources, listing out all pros and cons, a tug-of-war went on for months. Eventually, aluminum was eliminated.
One of the major reasons is health-risk and the ability to preserve skincare. The final material we chosen is amethyst glass (or violet glass). Amethyst blocks out visible lights, which conserve the freshness of skincare. Whilst, amethyst allows the penetration of UV light, which grants disinfection lights, sanitising the bottle thoroughly!

Although we can promise you our raw material comes from the best, we would like to remind that allergic condition varies from person to person. If you are a first-time buyer, please try the product behind your ear, leave it on for 10 minutes. If there is no sign of allergy, you are good to go! Else we would recommend you stop using the product.
